Why ? They  categoriize  it  as  " high risk "  .  Why   risk   re   penny  stock ,  in   high  volatility industry   ,   debt  levels.   Brokerages   are  afraid   of liability  and  some  brokers  have successfully  sued   re    losing    Aunt   Nelly,s   money  in   similiar  stocks.     Soon   as   a broker  gets   a new  account   with  this stock  ---they   will   blow   it  out  .

Penny makes a good point. He is not talking about platforms. He is talking about financial advisors. If someone inherits shares of ygr and has a financial advisor, the advisor will suggest selling ygr and buying blue chip stocks. My ex wife had this experience on our divorce settlement where I owned a ton of Obsidian and she got half. It was a penny stock and her advisor suggested she dispose it

Possibly  or not  .  You  will  need  to  open  an  account  .  On the  form  you  have  to  indicate  you are   willing   to  assume   high   risk .  Once   you  do  that   you  will  be   carefully scrutinized
