Reasons for the one for four reverse split

1.  puts  the  stock  in  a  higher  price  category  comparable  to  other  juniors  2, perception  of better quality  3.   allows  existing  holders  and new ones  to  buy  on  margin  if  they  choose  to  do  so  . 4. should   allow   a  quarterly   dividend  of   .01  per  share   to  start   sooner  ---on  the  new  25  million  shares    this   amounts   to   250000.00  Q  .  This   is  to   signal   to   the market   we are  going   to be   a dividend   payer   that   will   increase  over   time   (  similar  to  Surge)  .

Penny any type of reverse split would have to be from merger to be palatable to shareholders. I keep bringing up Petrus and ygr may make a ton of reasons to merge for strategic reasons if aeco will be low for a period of time. even with more lng online the ability to increase ng production is just so easy. So many zones in these stacked plays. merging ygr and Petrus would lower operating ...more

As  you  say  reverse  splits are controversial so they  are  often put  to a vote  although  I  believe the directors  can  do  one  unilaterly  should they choose  to  do  so. In  the  distant past  YGR  did  a reverse  but   could  have been  40  years ...more
