Home run

I think speculating on if orlens ferrier assets are for sale isn't a bad thing.
Question is how desperate is orlens willing to bail their Canadian operations at a discount?

I think Orlen became high motivated to leave Canada when pieridae energy east coast lng dreams stalled. Orlens used to own equity in pieridae or may still I am too lazy to look.
But a company orlens size...I mean it has 65000 employees world wide and is a 62 billion revenue company. Ferrier is lol what percentage of revenue for Orlen? Diddly squat.

not having orlens active to expand in land sales has likely allowed ygr to win land in auctions so cheaply, chambers etc.

Orlens may be able to offer flexible vendor financing to any buyer as orlens is such a massive monster sized company in Europe. Huge in Solar and wind farms as well.

This small Canadian division is a waste of time. No scale unless they bought large montney companies which is unlikely.

possible buying orlens at right price would allow ygr to start a return of capital program sooner...especially if room in payment terms.

Bne management team didn't give heads up on their cl entry. These management teams have strategic reasons to be silent and confidential until any deal closes.

I think fiddleage per flowing barrel buy at slightly under 12k ish per flowing barrel is higher that what Ferrier will fetch. A high percentage of the price paid was for about 8 well drilling locations that are oily. Orlen may fetch only 8k per flowing in ...more
