Hendrick, Curious on your thoughts that preferred ROC is a special dividend (he was throwing around 10 cents).  1 year ago at the same conference with SP at $1.80 they trumpeted buybacks because trading so cheap.  I can almost guarantee if they buyback 10 million in shares that SP will appreciate by way more than 10 cents. My understanding of the dividend, was not a one time special dividend. But rather a dividend that they would not commit to on an ongoing basis, but rather provide a special dividend on a regular basis. To me it's semantics. Their median case is 40 million in fcf next year. That is 40% fcf with 100% returned to shareholders once 80 million target hit.  OBE is doing a 5% buyback.  Different scenario. The comment that it is themselves and not banks imposing the 80 million target before ROC... why not initiate the ncib and start buying today if company is being given away with this giant ROC on the horizon.& ...more

Obe could be wanting the higher share price for m and a reasons. I think ygr guy said a 2 miler is like 3.2m...really good. Obe also has too much future capital drilling in peace river for a divvy make sense. i thought it was a good and encouraging presentation for ygr.
