Talked with Nicole
I had a long talk with Nicole today...and we covered a lot of subjects....Jerritt Canyon was one of them....all they are waiting for the "Consent Decree" from the Nevada state agency to start the mill. The Nevada Attorney General is involved because he wants the mill reopened for the jobs. Right now it's an ongoing discussion over the actual wording in the "Consent Decree" between the government lawyers and YNG's lawyers
They, YNG management and staff are just as frustrated as us shareholders, over the time this "Consent Decree" has taken to be finalized, and authorized.
Graham is on the mill site at Jerritt Canyon to get the mill up and running when the "Consent Decree" is authorized
The mine manager at the Jerritt Canyon site has been planning on where to first start mining the Au ore that is in the ground...once the mill is operational....then they hope to have the mine operational by the end of 2009
The Yukon government had a large mining exhibition,in which YNG participated with the presentations of their Yukon properties. A lot of professional mining people were there from China to look at the presentations put on by the resource companies.
I would like to point out....none of the above is a quote from Nicole.....but only the guist of our conversation

Just something else....I asked Nicole when they do a PP.....why not go to the existing shareholders and issue Rights and Warrants, and let the existing shareholders participate in any new share issue. Her reply was..."she didn't know why" but she will find out. ...........Richard

if every mine got the exactly same allegation, why Jerritt facility got shot down, while others are in operation?

Thanks Richard. I remember the US DOJ thing being a scatter gun approach as well. Bottom line is that Jerritt needed modernization and that is exactly what got done. I agree that the Nevada AG would be very interested in seeing jobs created and recreated. Even if that is not in "her" job description. Some good news soon and hopefully the posters will stay positive.

Bang on Richard. The restart will also have Jerritt mill as a modern flagship re mercury handling. That translates to great shareholder incremental value. A modern mill with 200,000 ounces being produced annually. And many millions more of ore in the ground. That is my hope.

I agree also..once the mill starts up YNG will be used as a positive example.
