that the Company suspects the 2700 oz. of gold was stolen and they got Dick Tracey on the case trying to find it.
That basically means it's gone and won't be recovered.  She didn't get into any details, but that looks to me to be very shotty security to me. Don't they understand gold is valuable and needs to be secured?  Unfricking believable.
