Spoke with the head man in IR today

and the impression I got from our conversation is they're looking to sell the company.  IMO they need additional financing and DB is holding the purse strings tightly shut, so what's the alternative?

I would say to do a deal or sell out. I also found out we currently don't have a poison pill, so theoretically we could be a hostile takeover candidate. I was told the poison pill expired in March, but that the majority of the company shares were held in strong hands and that those major shareholders were looking to get a minimum of .75 to $1 per share on a take out.  That maybe just wishful thinking.

Was also told DB wasn't pressuring management to do a deal.  I don't know if I bought that part or not.

Thanks for sharing .... .75 to $1 per share would be nice .... however I would not hold my breath ! It seemed obvious they were needing more cash, sadlly that has always been an issue with YNG, however I thought they said they would be cash positive this or next month ? maybe that was a stretch too cause it is not like their quarters have been even close. Supply from mines is not an issue afaik.  All suggestions are that our production ...more

I think MrGRP is trying to drive the price even lower than his previous goal of .24. (I was happy with 25.5.) Maybe MrGRP is in cahoots with Icepick! The horror! The horror!

IMO they need more money, so if that's the case they either get some of that $10 million that's sitting on the sidelines from DB or they're forced into doing one of the strategic alternatives.  I personally don't know why DB wouldn't  be agreeable to dip into that last $10 million when they have already spent $130 million?  It would appear the heaviest ...more

some good pointes Combo I guess so much lately going on and most of it is negative except the part that you mentioned about our production should be reaching steady state of production ... other then that though even the share price is down or negative .... yes we need a positive quarter and that could turn much of that around ! thanks ... good post

Yes have bid in for .24 but have a mit full of stocks that cost me more then theyare now worth ...more
