I'm kind of surprised we're not seeing

a bigger pop in the shares to this point. I would have thought a nickel or so at least today on this news.

Patience, Goldpet.  I wanted to be rich by lunchtime, too, but I'm going to be content watching the steady rise for the next few months....

I added this morning at the open. We are up almost a nickel over on YNGFF. Good volume too, so maybe we're getting some notice today.

Today headlines were GREAT news .... I think it will take a bit more to rekindle investor confidence to the point that we see the increase in shareprice that we want to see.  We are also facing some huge barriers with the problems in Europe but maybe more so with the recent huge decline in resourse stocks. But this is also just the beginning ! we have only reached steady state of ...more

I agree 100%.  It's probably going to take one quarter, maybe two of proving that they are cash flow positive to bring retail investors convincingly back onboard.  It may not, however, take a bigger fish that long to realize that YNG is undervalued and holding a lot of valuable assets that they would like to own.  So, when the share price hits .50-.60 cents we could be a ...more

Depending on what price is offered it probably doesn't matter who owns shares or how strong their hands are. If there is no poison pill in place, as I was told by the IR guy then they can be taken out. I thought they were exploring offers now anyway.

I think the reason we / YNG no longer has a "poison pill" so to speak. is because they don't need one anymore and are trying to attract buyers or interested parites. I think this was put in place at a time when they were most vulnerable to takeover at a low price and to protect the amount of investment they were injecting into the company. That is now complete and we have a valuable ...more

I would agree that YNG is less vulnerable now to a hostile take-out now than it was 6 monthes ago, when the poison pill was still in place and the turnaround was in question.  They always had the assets in the mill and roaster, they just needed to be refurbished and utilized to their full capacity, as they are now. If the corner has indeed been turned then I would hope it safe to assume YNG ...more

I wouldn't worry about being sold out ....we are in very capable hands with some very smart people....they know what the whole operation is worth....or they wouldn't be here in the first place. I increased my position yesterday on that report about Allied Nevada that was out on Friday.....the NR by YNG yesterday only confirms what is happening ....if you have an opportunity to increase ...more

If they can continue to produce 12K oz. or more a month, I'm not worried at all about being taken out because where the shares are priced at today we have no place to move but higher.  Having said that management just recently annouced they were exploring buy-outs, JV's, etc. for the company.  IMO as long as their production estimates are around that 150K oz./year number we have ...more
