Stroke of luck for Yri s/h!
Well, what do you know! Just as it seemed to be a very bleak fate & outcome for Yamana and it's shareholders with the lowball Goldfields offer, and being eventually forced to either sell their shares at a huge loss or having to take inferior & cra**y Goldfield shares in exchange, two white knights come to the rescue! What better ending could possible happen here than if Pan American & Agnico succeed?
I'll tell you Yamana shareholders straight off the bat, you guys are as lucky as "you know what", to have Agnico & Pan coming to the rescue here. If you still haven't sold, and i don't think many investors would have been stupid enough to continue hanging on & wait to get *itty Goldfield shares, those few of you that are left, i suggest you wait to see if Agnico & Pan can make it happen. Both much better companies & superior mgmt compared Goldfields, with assets i believe carry far less risk than what Goldfields has in its portfolio.
A few months ago when Goldfields made the offer for Yamana i said sell, get out and don't take the Goldfield offer in exchange. I also said the odds of a better offer were very slim. But who said miracles don't happen? We just witnessed one right now! And you guys are damn lucky to have another like given to you, compliments of Pan A & Agnico.
