Put 8000 of mine at 4$. Not the whole thing, but a good part of my lot. But damn, 50 000 shares that's sizeable.

Good question. Maybe because I'm busy doing other things, so I did not want to rush. Probably because of lack of concentration.

I put my 15k at 4$, will put them at 5$ tomorrow. The company might not need too. They might not have them held in a financial institution. There’s enough private shares on the market to destroy the share price by shorts. RBC is infamous for shorting your stocks.

Can someone please explain to my dumb azz how shorting works? Ive read a couple articles and I dont understand what it means when they say shorts borrow shares, sell them, wait for the price to decline then buy back the shares cheaper to cover their short position. Basically what I'm asking is how does someone borrow shares?

Its my understanding that only shares held in margin accts can be used in the shorters game. Shares held in RRSP,TFSA and CASH accts cannot be used.(CIBC) states this right at the bottom of the monthly statement.
