VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 03, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Turmalina Metals Corp. (“Turmalina”, or the “Company”; TBX-TSXV, TBXXF-OTCQX, 3RI-FSE) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Mineral Property Option Agreement (the “Option Agreement”) with Compania De Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. (the “Optionor”) and Aurora Copper Peru, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company (“Turmalina SubCo”), whereby the Optionor has granted Turmalina SubCo the option (the “Option”) to acquire 100% of the Optionor’s title and interest in nine (9) mining concessions located in Peru (the “Colquemayo Project”). The Optionor is at arm’s length from the Company and Turmalina SubCo.

With only 0.08 g/t Au and mostly rich in Cu is TBX becoming copper miner; I wonder where the focus is here. LONG time ago I got into this company as a potential gold producer or at least gold explorer & now I‘m holding a potential copper mine. Where is the objective here even if it is a LONG term – 18 months exploration timeline (as stated in the press release). What is the big picture here
