Regrets...I've had a few

First stock I ever owned...TD Bank
enrolled in the dividend re-investment plan
received a 1 for 1 stock dividend

THEN...the price ran up quite nicely the next year and I in my infinite wisdom thought it would make sense to sell and trade resource stocks

After blowing up the account a couple times, I finally started making some money in the resource sector and now those profits are going into TD
Better late than never I suppose
(but it does kinda make you want to cry when you think of what things would have looked like if I had just stayed the course and kept adding shares over the years)

Side note... my uncle was a TD branch manager and put the majority of his investment dollars into TD stock. Let's just say he and his wife retired quite comfortably

Hoping this time around, I can resist the urge to trade and build up some sizeable retirement dividends

my sister told me to buy this stock in 2013, so i did..have held ever since she bought and loaded up in 2008, just magine the dividend that she gets LONG IS ALWAYS BETTER these day traders will find out the same way you did
