"Timberline has also been advised that development costs for the mine at Butte Highlands, which are funded to production entirely by Highland, may now approach $24 million, as compared to the $17 million previously reported."


WTF? You're telling me they missed by almost 33% and at $1400 gold??? Someone's hide ought to be tacked on the mine wall for that....mistake or oversight. That's inexcusable these days. This looks like somebody's first rodeo....not like an experienced mining - development company that made and adhered to their own low bid. So, the short of it is that producton is delayed untuil about this time next year....if they're lucky. Buy the dips because it looks like there could be some besides today's action.

so our partner has to come up with some more cash... does not seem like a short term problem for us.  They earn in to the project by  providing the financing.  Inflation is a pain but sure should keep the price of gold up in the future.As far as the permit goes...as long as we are just delayed six months or less I  can deal with that...These mines never seem to meet ...more
