What’s happening in Mexico is exciting.

They are finalizing Cannabis reform to put laws in effect regulating its legalization.  I wonder what Mexican company Irwin Simon acquires or partners with?  You know he's keeping his eye on that development which is weeks away.  We purchased Sweetwater two days after Biden's win over Trump in November. Irwin said when favourable laws are on the horizon expect Tilray to be there.   We are basically on stand by in Germany for their recreational reform as we are number one medically in the country with a state of the art facility completed in the country.   Mexico is the worlds number one Canabis consuming country rivaling the USA. 100's of millions of people in the coming weeks will be potential Tilray customers. With the quality buds, vapes, edibles, pre Rollie's from Tilray. We can capture a nice chunk of that market. Hopefully Irwin Simon has a company ready to pull the trigger on and buy in Mexico. He will show why he can build a billion dollar business like he did with Hain Celestial.

This is not how you do DD.   Marijuana has been legal in Canada since 2018.  Yet all MJ companies are still struggling to turn a profit.  This clown thinks as soon as other countries legalize Tilray will capture all the market shares.  Btw Mexico is a Narco country, there is no money in legalized drugs in Mexico.  And do you think foreign government are just going to ...more

@budd I'm sorry you are foolish. IS can purchase a medical company in Mexico and sell legalized cannabis across the country. Just like Coke, Pepsi, McDonald's capitalize in Mexico and Mexico with Corona for example capitalize here in Canada. It's global market and Mexico and Canada have trade laws in place. That's what you call DD?

Just tapped an up on the old Foxx. While he and I agree on near nothing, we do agree here. Thinking the Cartel is going to roll out the red carpet to foreignor companies... LMAO Can you imagine how quickly a foreignor operation would be robbed and burnt down to the ground... I bet quicker than one can say....  Zambada.

they'll be the number one cannabis company with most headless employees. Good luck in getting anyone to work there! I won't even go there on vacay anymore!

Lol glad we can agree on something.  These guys don't understand the politics in Mexico.  The cartels runs the country from electing the president all the way down the chain.  It would be very dangerous and not viable for any company trying to take money from the cartels.  This is FACTS.  And btw, a 2016 study shows that less than 5% of the population in Mexico even ...more

Last time I was in Mexico I got a big ol bag of weed for $20 USD. I dont see Mexico being a viable market.  At this point it is all about Europe and USA. That is where the real money will be made. eom momo

When you say that you can buy a "big bag of weed for $20" in Mexico it makes me wonder how much if any weed you consume because there isnt any "weed" in Mexico? All they have is gorilla grown outdoor garbage that tastes like S*** and doesnt get you high. As soon as tourists can buy legal premium weed in Mexico it will most definately be a needle mover...not neccesarily for ...more

Did I say it was primo? No man. $20, yes it tastes terrible but it got me high along with the 4 girls from NYC that I smoked it with. I guess you bought from the wrong person down there pal. Know your hook-ups. Just sayin... Tourists... lmao.

Wow...I guess I struck a nerve...lol. Not sure what 4 girls from New York has to do with anything but if you are getting high and are happy with Mexican weed and you dont think legal weed in Mexico will be massive then you dont understand business anymore then you understand the differnece between quality weed and garbage...just sayin. lol

All 5 of us got high. Thats what it has to deal with. Not just my opinion. Sorry your tourist self isnt capable of locating weed to get you high. That is your fault that your business skills are so poor. Mexico will be massive, ok pal. Come back at me when that happens... see ya never again is my bet.
