There was strong disbelief when Tilray stated that they see an opening to the US once rescheduling happens:

"Why rescheduling could be boon to marijuana research

“I believe demand is going to skyrocket,” Richard Shain, CEO of Maridose, a DEA-licensed bulk manufacturer of cannabis, said in an interview with MJBizDaily.

Shain said Maridose is considering sourcing its starter materials from Canadian licensed producers through an import license issued by the DEA.

Because Canada allows exports of cannabis, it’s a good option for companies looking to stay compliant with DEA regulations, he said."

It's also a lot cheaper factoring in the exchange rate and Tilrays already low costs to produce to import   US companies aren't going to pay more for the priviledge of doing business with non-compliant MSO just because Schedule 3 isn't going to make weed sold in dispensaries for cash-only like a pot dealer down the street a medicine or compliant with schedule 3 Companies need ...more
