for Hexo - before they were acquire by Tilray.
Previous to Simple Simon, quinlash's devotion was for Hexo CEO 'SSL' (Sebastien St Louis) - the guy who single handedly drove Hexo to bankruptcy using the same failed 'growth by acquisition' strategy.
When SSL was finally, mercifully shown the door - it was too late for Hexo - but quinalsh wrote the following post.
Sorry - but it's almost sickening. Who writes this sort of thing?
NOW - CEO Simple Simon is worth every bit of his $66 million USD?
Right.
quinlash - (10/18/2021 10:10:01 AM) Farewell and Best Wishes for our CEO I would personally l like to thank our CEO for all of his hard work and his dedication to making HEXO the company it is today. I would especially like to thank him for taking the initiative to start the company during a time when Canadian Cannabis Legalization was not certain and for having the foresight to see it become a reality.
His self-sacrifice, both financial and I am sure to his personal life, was great and I am saddened to see him leave. I trust that his decision did not come lightly however, I am sure it is one he made for the advancement and future success of the company he sacrificed so much to start.
With heavy heart I wish Mr. St-Louis all the best in his future endeavors and hope to see him remain involved to some extent with HEXO Corp going forward.
God Bless you and yours.
Sincerely,
