Yes, the name is certainly recognized. A billion dollar valuation that declared bankruptcy and hundreds of millions in unpaid debt.
If you want to use a name associated with 'loser' - then I guess Medmen is a good choice - and the best part? Simple Simon only had to spend $225 million of investors money - and dilute their value - to possibly have the chance to use the name Medmen.
