Anyone have a few thoughts on the significant drop?

I  guess since pp is closed and they raised the money no need to support the stock price at this time. Now they want to buy this shares at lower price. It looks that people behind TOL don't worry too much about creating shareholder value at this time... and they are keeping very quite with drilling results...

The price drop isn't because the PP closed, it is in free fall just like the production rates from theses wells.  It isn't just our TOL wells that are sliding fast.  The data so far is showing a constant pattern of large tests followed up by poor longevity and challenging economics.  The price drop is a result of the terrible operations press release.

the PP was closed 10 days ago and share price started drifting lower, and today they have news reporting with the lower production levels from few locations. I guess you must be assuming that TOL mngmt just receive this numbers today or  last week. That is your choice. Fortunately I  didn't buy  PP shares at $5.90 but if I did I would be calling my broker and asking questions ...more

I disagree.  The drop isn't due to unexpected declines.  Everyone knows that Cardium wells have hyperbolic decline rates.  So far, the 7 wells with production data compare favourably with the Garrington type curve.  For the Lochend curve, I have average production rates of 220, 140 and 100 boe/d which is comparable to the Garrington curve of 175, 130 and 105.  Also ...more
