PBN now owns a fair chunk of the TOL. Wonder why not buy the whole company?   They also took a similar position in ARN along with CPG.. What wonder what the startgey is here and PBN's intent.    Any thoughts?   Brodie

maybe they just want to have an option to buy at a later time for various reasons? 1-limit cash available at this time? 2-or they just want to see more test resutls on JV lands or on TOL's lands ? nobody else is going to try and buy TOL with PBN controlling this large a position as a minority shareholder or maybe the CEo's are good buds and this is just another way for a poison pill

Agree with both points.   Sold 30,000 shares at $2.63 - $2.70 yesterday, as things were not looking well.  It was hard not to panic.    Bought some back at $2.80 today.   There is not doubt that it is PBN bidding 500,000 at each of $2.78 and $2.79.   PBN now owns a nice chunk of my former shares :(    They were

don't feel bad they know how to manipulate the market and scare the little guys, it's happened to me as well but I'm getting a little better with my convictions these days, and I actually read TOL's presentaiton again thsi morning just to convince myself everything is on tract for another stellar year. anyway, a profit is a profit are you playing MGX/TSX, great risk./reward oil

Hi Shambano   Interestingly I was in it about 2 years ago around 20 cents, and got out a few pennies higher.  Then they drilled that duster well and I never looked at it again.   I saw a big article somewhere about a month ago on it, and it has been moving up ever since.  Congrats if you got in at lower levels.   Today I finally broke down and sold a chunk of my Spartan in

Petrobakken was afraid that Pengrowth was going to make a run at  TOL and that would make Pengrowth largeness land holder in Lockend

4.9 million shares traded yesterday. I am thinking that all of this came as a surprise to TOL management. I would guess that a news release is forthcoming.
