Unfortunately with all the global unrest, recession fears and interest rate hikes to fight stubborn inflation (higher for longer), I would be on the sidelines unless you don't mind riding out a possibly long and painful correction. There are too many unknowns and Treasuries are paying 5.5%. In my opinion, it's a no-brainer to sell or if already sold, wait on the sidelines. Many are shorting the S&P.

None of the issues you have about the macroeconomic situation of the times we live in have ever changed . Except the fact that things are getting better for most of us Humans . I've been buying into almost every dip and will continue to do so . I bought my first house during the Paul Volker hyper inflation at  21.9% interest rate with a variable . Why ? Correction............There are over 4 Billion humans that are eating less than one meal a day. more than 2 Billion without easy access to clean drinking water or electricity ???????? I remember the fear of polio , tuberculosis, measles, mumps, Guinea worm and many more killers . The number of polio victims in wheel chairs was staggering and classmates dying from measles. Those and many others took decades to alivate . COVID's ? Took nine months to crack . And now AI is being deployed against a miriade of our problems . The past was much more ugly than most of think but ...more
