TRAVERSE CONFIRMS NO MATERIAL CHANGE

At the request of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, Traverse Energy Ltd. has confirmed that the company's management is unaware of any material change in the company's operations that would account for the recent increase in market activity.

The company is a junior oil and natural gas exploration and development company. The common shares of the company are currently listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol TVL.
