June 2019

About 4 years ago, June 2019, the 2 major shareholders, Furtura Corp. and Arbutus Distributors offered to buy TSL for $2.25 per share which occurred shortly after 1st Q poor results. I personally think that TSL would be a good fit for the Doman family. I own both and don't consider it either predatory or opportunistic. I’m open to a sale at a fair price.   In 2019, the price was opportunistic as the $2.25 per share offered didn’t even equal the amount received on the sale of their Etiwanda facility18 months later - $55.3 million US or $2.45 Canadian per share (pre-tax).   Today, the 2 properties in Richmond and Calgary are worth north of $4.00 per share pre-tax.

If they buy it and make it private, your dividend disappears ... & $2 or $3 is nowhere near what the company is worth.
