It should hopefully be a non-issue but I got the news alert from Quotestream so I thought I'd pass it along.

he is of course the President of Lake Shore (LSG) which should in turn fuel speculation that LSG will take a run at TRR here.  There is no longer a conflict of interest standing in the way.

what does this tell us.

good news pr imho. Whatever deal is made in the future will not be tainted especially if LSG is in the bidding for TRR.

Perhaps TRR has rebuffed overtures from LSG which although a great Canadian mining success story is not  a cash rich Co, therefore they would have had to go wih some form of all share deal. Maybe not rich enough for TRR as other majors may have peaked there interest. Good chance LSG is a takeover target themselves. Either way it is getting more interesting by the minute!
