🀠🐂Bullish #Uranium & #NuclearEnergy news was running up

John Quakes
@quakes99 -

Bullish #Uranium & #NuclearEnergy news was running up the score again last week as world bankers hit a #Nuclear Triple while big tech smashed western #Uranium demand out of the ballpark in a flurry of #AI home runs! Here's my weekly recap:

In one of the biggest 'game-changer' boosts to the global Nuclear Renaissance to date, last week at the New York City Climate Week event 'Financing the Tripling of Nuclear Energy' a group of 14 of the largest global banking institutions gave their financial support to the 25-nation COP28 pledge to triple Nuclear energy by 2050, recognizing that global civil nuclear energy projects have an important role to play in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The institutions included: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Ares Management, Bank of America, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Brookfield, Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley, Rothschild & Co, Segra Capital Management, and Societe Generale. world-nuclear-news.org/articles/inter

Nuclear NY hosted a jam-packed Nuclear Symposium 2024 - Uplifting Humanity - at Climate Week NYC with expert panel discussions throughout the day livestreamed to thousands of participants, covering a wide range of topics from growing government policy and public support to accelerating reactor deployments and boosting the Uranium nuclear fuel cycle. x.com/nuclearny/stat

At last week's NYC Climate Week 'Nuclear Symposium 2024', the DOE announced that an updated version of the Department of Energy's Advanced Nuclear Liftoff Report, outlining the US plan to TRIPLE its Nuclear energy capacity (and Uranium demand) by adding 200 Gigawatts of new reactor capacity by 2050, is to be issued on Monday, September 30th. The report will lay out the key findings of new research demonstrating that "it's cheaper to decarbonize with Nuclear" when LCOE is adjusted "to capture the full benefit of 80-year clean firm operating assets." x.com/sollidnuclear/

The U.S. must TRIPLE Nuclear power to keep pace with clean power demand. America’s #coal communities could provide a cheaper, faster pathway by building 174 Gigawatts of new reactors at shuttered coal plants across 36 states. cnbc.com/2024/09/27/ame

In a CNBC interview, U.S. Energy Secretary Granholm acknowledged that Nuclear small modular reactors for powering AI are all but a full on "go" for the future.

"Hyperscalers for these big data centers all have commitments to clean energy too, and they don’t want to see themselves located in a community where their demand for power causes everybody else’s rates to go up." "They’re committed—telling us—to bringing that power with them, which is why the need for Nuclear small modular reactors, co-locating data centers with small reactors, or partnerships."

"For example, with Constellation and Microsoft for Three Mile Island to turn on more power. We’ve got a ton of Nuclear sites in this country that have been permitted for additional reactors that could be powering data centers as well. We’re working with those."

"AI isn't going to happen without Nuclear," said Constellation Energy CEO Joseph Dominguez as the company invests $1.6 billion to revitalize Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant after securing a deal with Microsoft to power the tech giant's AI data centers, says US should copy China's plans to co-locate Nuclear power plants with new "multi-gigawatt" data centers. bloomberg.com/news/articles/

Following Microsoft's $16 Billion 20-year agreement to purchase power from a restarted Three Mile Island Nuclear power plant, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro urged regulators to fast-track the reactor's connection to the electrical grid. Shapiro wants the reactor to “be allowed to come online as quickly as possible rather than waiting in the queue as if they were an entirely new development.” zerohedge.com/markets/nuclea

Hard to fathom that list of news is from one week??? And with all of that positive news the spot hardly moves??? To me it just reinforces my belief that the only thing that really moves the Uranium equities is the buying of fuel. Either by the fuel buyers for the utilities or sput???? Next week maybe interesting so stay tuned!!! glta dyodd
