As the public becomes more accepting of nuclear energy and the demand for carbon-neutral energy sources rises, numerous investors are seeking promising uranium junior companies to invest in. One such company worth considering is Kraken Energy Corp. (Tickers: UUSA.c or UUSAF for US investors).
UUSA recently conducted a webinar which provides ample information on the company and its projects, which you can watch here:
Below is a summary of the presentation's main takeaways.
UUSA is focusing solely on the US market, with a preference for projects located in tier 1 mining jurisdictions with past producing or historic resources in place to avoid any political risk. By skipping green field exploration, which is the biggest investment risk for explorers, UUSA's strategy lowers the investment risk. Additionally, UUSA's criteria provide them with the best opportunity to fast-track projects to a production-ready stage.
The US government is offering incentives for uranium production as it has designated uranium as a strategic metal, with three production contracts already signed. UUSA is taking advantage of these incentives by focusing on a fast-tracked production model to establish a US-based uranium hub & spoke model, with a range of catalysts upcoming.
Currently, UUSA has three projects: Garfield Hills Project, Apex Project, and Huber Hills Project. The Garfield Hills Project has more potential than initially realized, with a proven resource and over 4km of strike length to be built out in the Phase 2 program. The Apex Project has 13km of known mineralization on the surface, making it well-positioned to be pushed forward with a fast-tracked production model. UUSA aims to start drilling in the last half of 2023 at the Huber Hills Project.
With a clear path established forward, UUSA is in a strong position to continue building its US-based uranium hub & spoke model. UUSA's CEO, Matthew Schwab, aims to have at least 5 exploration properties by the end of the year. UUSA has $8.5M in the bank, positioning it well for the next few exploration programs.
