Vol collapses to 1 yr lows as Mania Amps to "11"

the collapse in vol in 2 weeks has been noteworthy for a market in full mania mode and with daily gamma short squeezes resulting in commonplace 20% daily moves in many high beta names 

Its been a long normalization of vol from 100 level 1 year ago , today the backdrop is the oppoiste of quiet and boring . The mania that has absorbed the markets seems the precise inverse of where we stood a year ago.
