Proxy Vote for AGM

1.  If you are a shareholder, and living "in" Canada, did you receive your proxy(ies) and were you able to successfully vote your shares by mail-in ballot or with a control number?

2.  If you are a shareholder, and living "outside" of Canada, did you receive your proxy(ies) and were you able to successfully vote your share by mail-in ballot or with a control number?

3.  Trying to gather information on "how extensive the problem" of shareholders not being able to vote. Please post if you have not been able to successfully vote your shares. Sincerely appreciated.

Thank you.

This post is to expound on the questions presented in my earlier post today. To date, I have been unsuccessful in voting my shares as a USA shareholder. In past years I have had to call my trading company and after some effort received control numbers for multiple accounts. This year I was unsuccessful thru my well known/established trading company. I then communicated with Computershare (Canada). ...more

I am a USA shareholder and I have not received anything thru TD or by mail. I asked on TD, and they said to go to Shareholder Library but there is nothing there. Any suggestions as to what my next step should be?  Thanks!

kennvt: If TD cannot help any further, the only suggestion is to call Computershare (Canada). Maybe they can help. If you are not listed in their registry, you are probably stuck. I too use TD and in the past they were able to help. I was unsuccessful this year. Historically I have never received a mail-in ballot/proxy or an initial electronic means to vote for Abcourt. It is the only company on ...more

I am not voting my shares and dont care. Renaud and his minions like the french veternarian et al have controlling interest in common and are going to do whatever they please regardless of what things a few minority shareholders advocate...name one other canadian mining company that files md&a and financial statements and 43101 only in french language? This alone clearly show what Renaud and ...more

Voting is a complete waste of time and only demonstrates support for a corrupted system. As Mark Twain said, and i paraphrase, "if voting mattered they wouldnt let you do it." Another insightful commentary is from our comrade Stalin who said it matters not who votes but only matters who counts the votes. Though he didnt realize it at the time, Stalin was not only describing elections in ...more

I agree that voting would be a waste of time.  Perhaps instead those that want a change in management can e-mail the company and suggest OMH announce his retirement at the upcoming shareholders meeting.  Now wouldn';t that be the  best news ever.  lol,. barbados 2016

Sorry  but imho he is very replaceable.  The company will survive just fine without him and so will the shareholders. Barbados 2016

No info on any vote here in Maine, USA. was holdin 800,000 shares, down to 400,000 shares now with 4,425 shares of AMC, hoping to SCORE and buy many more shares of Abcourt back in the near future.

I have always had this problem. In reality it would cost about $10 to vote electronically. In reality I would have to pay a small fortune for the pleasure to the Investment Bank, and in discussions with them they have told me they only do the service for very large shareholders. This is like saying you can only vote with your shares if you are rich. I refuse to pay the kind of money they quoted me ...more
