Abcourt Mines Inc > Easy to manipulate the share price.
View:
Post by fbedard29 on Jul 04, 2022 6:58pm

Easy to manipulate the share price.

It only took 400k shares for sale at 5c ($20k) to get the share price down +- 40% .
It only took 160k shares on the buy side to raise the share price up  20% .

It is not shareholders that are trying to control the share price but outside manipulators that
can risk a few thousands dollars to get their wishes.

If you want the merger to realize you can bet a few thousands dollars by buying a few thousands shares.
If you do not want the merger to realize bet a few thousands dollars by selling a few thousands shares.

If a was a manipulator i would sell 1m shares at 5c to make certain that the merger doesn't go through.

If a was a manipulator i would buy 1m shares at 7c to make certain that the merger is realized.

My total cost could be $20k max and would be temporary.

So think on your own and do not let outside manipulators decide for you.

The next few days will not change the real value of Abcourt or Pershimex .
Only both presidents can or should change your perceptions of the future and it is up to them to convince us of it.

Hi Fernand I have a slightly differant theory on what happened late Thursday about the sales of Abcourt shares. To me it looked like someone might have needed to raise some cash to cover a market call. As you could see the markets over all have been in a downward trajectory so for this person or group selling a slow moving asset may have been a logical move.

Hi simplycanuck  Yes if you had posted this yesterday i could have thought that you were right but today after reading that a new PP at 0.065c and flow through shares at 0.08c and full warrants good for 3 years i am now certain that the price was manipulated down to 0.05c and the manipulators missed the last sale of the day and by error the price closed at 0.06c. Now management can claim ...more

This one won't be the most popular post on this board, but anyway here is a different reality check.  There is no real manipulation when less than 1% of the float is traded, there is just no interest in that company.  Someone from this board and myself started to sell our shares because there was nothing positive coming in the next months.  Abi has been losing money since the ...more

Hi Puffertime I am a little disappointed that you are shooting my theory of manipulation down. I had put so much effort in understanding the process. I am still confused that you sold at 5c two trading days before the PP was announced. If you hadn't sold the price would be at 7c today and would have made managament look bad for  doing a financing under the share price. Who do i believe ...more

I concur with Mr. Puffertime.....there was a possible future for this company, but after the mugging ... I meant merger and dilution....one has to be completely delusional....in these pending times....very sad indeed!!!!

Hi Mr Bedard, I wrote a pretty simple message but still, you missed the core of my post.  What you call a theory is at best an hypothesis because it doesn't take into account the volume of shares traded and the VERY clear downtrend of ABI.  So, what you are calling manipulation is more a capitulation in my book.  You are wrong I did not sell shares at 5 cents, I could have (I ...more

Hi Puffertime  I did not miss the core of your post. You mentions that there could not be manipulation when only 1% of the float is traded. My point is that, this is why Abcourt could be manipulated because there is no trading and no interest. Only a few thousands  dollars can bring the share price of Abcourt up or down by 10-20% . The share price cannot be manipulated for years but is ...more
