Thanks to all posters.

Hi , i have read posts from TheOldmariner,Javaman12,Jameske and a few others lately
and it makes me jealous of your hability to express yourself.

For me i seem to go directly to the point and very often  go too far.

One comment that was not really clear from my part was ,the Options that management had granted  a few directors.
In the past the total amount of options that could be granted was a total of +- 10m options, and now the options that could be granted was raised to 10% of outstanding shares.(+- 40-45m options).

Yes options are a way to compensate directors if share prices raises above options exercise price
but  5 years options at 0.05c is a dam good deal when not putting a dollar upfront.

My understanding is that directors and management that only  participate in meetings are reimbursed for their expenses and time.
Other directors and managements personnels that do more than just participate in meetings are paid a yearly salary.

If all directors had faith in their ability to take or make the right choices they all had the opportunity
to participate in the private placement at 0.04c with a 0.05c wt exercible in 3 years.
But my understanding is that not many directors participated or had enough faith to
participate by putting their own money upfront.

So my suggestion is to not distribute too many options (surely not 10% of outstanding shares).

So now from my positive side:

All shareholders had the option to participate in the private placement  at 0.04c with wt at 0.05c in 3 years.

Production is coming fast from the SG,(even if at a small scale).

Abcourt is doing a great job of proving more resources at SG,Discovery,Flordin and
are now planning to do the same with Pershimex, Manitou .

The price of gold seems to be heading up (maybe as much as 30-40% in 2024) my own opinion that has no value.

If the cost of labor and expenses can be controlled Abcourt would be in a great position to profit.

So Mr Hamelin has a few options to help increase Abcourt share price.
Profit could be coming from production.
Other co. could be interested in acquiring Abcourt if more resources are proven.
Barvue still has potential.

Sorry i have no opinion to express on all global matters.

So wish you all a happy and profitable new year.

Fernand

Hi Fernand I agree with your feeling  Options are a good way to motivate troops but in a reasonable size. But  in writing the management doesn't invest its own money is not true . Because the CEO Mr Hamelin and the CFO Mrs Lefevre invested a significant amount  from their own pocket in the private placement.

I think the new management has done a pretty damn good job when it comes to how Abcourt is run. Promotion is on another planet compared to the past. The vision for the company and how it will progress is much improved. They should be buying shares on the open market - ban options for the management staff until they own a minimum number of shares -say 5 to 10 million shares, then they can engage in ...more

The concept of a dividend may be appropriate for a bigger miner. But Abcourt is still in its infancy. Profit sharing could only come much later once Abcourt MInes is a much bigger producer! A growing company also draws better investor attention! Once profits become obvious, some shareholders will come to stay! Some will trade. Others will wait for growth! That's what shareholders, always do! ...more
