VRIC- booth 2022

I just wondered if you had made it to the show. I used to go yearly before the big 2008 meldown. Enjoyed the show. Jim is probably there doing the dance. Maybe he was waiting for the show before he pulls the trigger on the funding. Guess we will see. Looks like the USD may have peaked so fingers crossed on the summer.Cheers !!

My guess is that he'll do the initial exploration work this summer on the Red Lake area and the graphite plays (only field work minus any drilling) using the existing $700K or so before doing another financing, but we'll see.   Hopefully the announcement of feet on the ground will bring back buyers.  The other thing that may help is a a good JV on Justin and/or Forrest Kerr.

I guess I don't understand why Jim has let this company just drift away? He must have other irons in the fire and ready to jump ship, although this one will surely follow him. They needed to do the rollover months ago to set up for the summer exploration season. Start fresh with the stock around 40 cents, and then bring in the flow throughs. He has really dropped the ball this time. Time is ...more

They implied in their recent news that their exploration plans for this summer will only consist of non-drilling activities.  Or at least that is how I read it.    Part of that could be do to the limiited season for ground exploration on the new properties - they wouldn't have time to sample, analyze and drill in one season.   I suspect the decision not to raise ...more

Just looked at SEDAR and the March financials show $400K left, cash burn of $ 300 since Sept, 6 months. Jim is watching the till and that is good....but nothing left except maybe a $200k very limited stir the dirt exploration. Think that is why the stock has slowly dropped into the .04. What I do like is that the whole company is worth now only $5m which I think Forest Kerr is worth. Going to ...more

There may or may not be a rollback...depends on the results of this year's exploration and if the share price will hold or exceed a nickel.   Many companies that have more shares than ABEN don't do a rollback.   I would disagree that they are limited to $200K for exploration.  May 27 Sedar: "At March 31, 2022 the Company had cash and equivalents of $409 ...more

I agree with you ,i don't excpect rollback. I am prety sure Justin property will be optioned or sold and will bring good money for ABN to continue with other projects .

Incidentally there is no question at all that the Red Lake area had unprecidented snow over the winter and late into the spring, so ABEN's last news of delays in getting boots on the ground is completely warranted: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/thunder-bay/northwestern-ontario-major-spring-storm-1.6418530
