baccanal, this interesting article appeared in The Toronto Star on this weekend, and is probably the cause of the spike. I found it to be really interesting, note the application's for helium, one being the military. https://www.thestar.com/business/2020/01/05/canadian-oilpatch-hopes-float-on-prairie-helium-drilling-prospects.html

That article stated American Helium as being privately owned, you had to look beyond that to see that it was publickly listed.
