Although India is affected by the epidemic in 2020 and its economic growth is slowing down, thanks to its superior new energy policy and good investment returns, the demand for the solar photovoltaic industry is still expanding against the trend.
In November 2020, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned when attending the 15th G20 Summit: "We can achieve the 175GW renewable energy target well before the 2022 target date. Now, We are committed to achieving the 450GW target in 2030 and have taken a big step forward."
Waaree, headquartered in Mumbai, is India’s largest photovoltaic module manufacturer and has been cooperating with Jinchen shares for several years. The 3GW solar photovoltaic module production line signed this time will be delivered in April 2021 and will be officially put into operation in June. By then, the total production capacity of Waaree's module manufacturing will reach 5GW, making it the largest module manufacturer in overseas markets.
