after that the next step is a massive financing, fleecing shareholders once again with dilution....at least I hope they find a worthy project...

After consolidation, sure people will start to pick up shares.  But they will have to start to show more aggressive exploration plan.  If not, sp will drop lower, or just sit there untraded.
