How do you bag and deliver 3,000 tons to the Lab.

Three thousand tons of rock is ludicrous. One Sherman Tank weighs 70 tons. Forty-three (43) Sherman Tanks equal = 3000 tons. Makes no sence at all. You will need a massive train to transport. How do you make room in a Lab for for all this rock ????

It is not ludicrous it is done all the time and this is why it costs so much money. Here is an example, please have a look of another diamond project. In this release there is a line in the middle of it that says click "here" and it will show a video of the kimberlite all bagged up and being shipped on flat bed tractor traileers, all 2,500 bags: https://www.miningstockeducation.com ...more

2500 is a lot of bags to load and haul. If we do 3000 time or more for bulk sample size we will be well over 4000 bags. I can see why the bulk sample takes a year to complete

this video shows the bulk sample process once at the lab. How the rock gets there ? I imagine they fly it in. I know the bulk sample is expensive. NAR just did a 1900tonne sample that cost 5.6 million CAD.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-ymBoFQWRBQ
