maybe ADD knew that this news was not going to be recieved very well and decided to release it today. Then suprise is with great sequioa news early next week to weed out the weak hands? 

I guess only time will tell. Be nice to know what the delay at SRC was? I emailed numerous questions to ADD and still have zero response. That's usually a telling sign of the type of managment, but I really hope it's not the case.
