Old post that may give us a better idea of what to
THIS IS A RE-POSTING OF AN EARLIER POST BECAUSE IT MAY BE HELPFUL TO HELP GET AN IDEA OF WHAT COULD BE A GOOD RESULTS AT THIS STAGE!!
From this, I understand that greater then > 23 stones with multiple hole with more then one diamonds is very promising for the potential of EPL 3403.
===============================
Dear Mr Leveille,
In the March 28 Press release you stated : “ The aims of the program are to start delineating the diamond potential”.
Iam curious to get your opinion on what kind of results are needed inorder for AFA to think its can delineate a diamond potential on EPL3403. Are we talking about the same type of results as does foundduring the last block J program?
Kind regards
XXX
Dear XXX,
Theprogram we are currently carrying is an evaluation program, which hasas it’s main the goal evaluating the diamond potential of EPL 3403 andnot delineating a resources, as was the last goal of our Block Jexploration program. Therefore, it important to understand that theexploration program presently being conducted on EPL 3403 is at a lesseradvance stage than the last program we did on Block J.
The mostimportant factor behind evaluating the potential of marine diamondconcession is the fashion in which the diamonds are discovered. If wefind the diamonds grouped together in a clear and defined environment,we are then able to evaluate a potential.
The second importantfactor is the size of the stones. Diamond values are not linearly linkedto the size of stones: larger stones are disproportionately morevaluable than smaller ones. The number of stones which are recovered isan interesting factor but, at this stage of sampling, is lesssignificant than either the diamond concentration or the average diamondsize.
The previous program carried out by IMDH on EPL 3403 was areconnaissance program that has enable to prove presence of diamondswith the recovery of 23 stones on 267 samples taken over a very sparsesampling grid. They have also been able to find some concentration areaswith some samples were found to contained more than 1 diamond, one ofthese sample contained 6 stones.
With the current program, we donot have a goal regarding the specific number of diamonds we need torecover because it is still evaluation program done over the large areawe have to cover.
However, we feel that the program will besuccessful if we recover more diamonds than the previous program (23)and if the diamonds are recovered grouped in confined areas and if theaverage size of diamond is large enough to have an influence of theeconomic potential of the project.
Kind regards

Hi Arpagon29.I think you should be very excited about the results. The 80+ diamonds found exceed largely the 23 stones that you tought will be a good start. Moreover, the potential concentration of large diamonds is here.Hope the market will recognize soon this undervalued company... Thanks for all your constructive comments these past months.Mark
