EPL 3403

So ML 47 in this picture is the one that is "producing in excess of 1.1 million carats per year". I've noticed that their property starts right at the Orange River and I found out that the currents move northward so their diamonds are obviously coming from the Orange River which goes through the heart of the diamond fields in Africa.
My question is will enough wash up into EPL 3403 to make an economic mine? They might be able to find a few big diamonds but will it be an economic mine?
Any thoughts or opinions?

You don't believe that the fact that the Orange River is known for its diamonds, and the fact that ML 47 starts right on the very edge of where the river enters the ocean tells you that at least some of the diamonds are coming from the river?

I'm not refuting the fact that they are coming from the Orange River but wondering if they are also being mined from deposits under the surface. I'm just curious to know how the majority are being mined, dredging or vertical drilling?
