It's what they do best. I was looking at the Lundin Group website and all of their bragging was related to deals that were done over 10 years ago. As Janet Jackson said " What have you done for me lately " ? :) They are lazy

Well hopefully, Africa Energy management is busy behind the scenes as our share price languishes: -closing the Block 2B farmout to ensure drilling of Gazania (even if AEC needs to contribute cash, the well must be drilled and AEC is sitting on plenty of cash anyhow) -preparing to drill Gazania as non-operator -working with Operator Total to quantify 11b-12b resources and finalize contracts w RSA ...more

All the things you mention they should be doing have already been in their corporate presentation's. They don't have to pay anything for the drilling of 2B, that's why they gave up a good percentage of ownership. You know that and it's called being carried. I say lazy because they find the easiest way possible to raise capital. They could have acquired a short term loan from the ...more

What's your definition of high ? I first bought AFE when they had 250mm and I thought that was high. They said they would raise money in the most efficient manner possible which was doubling the float. Not my idea of efficiency. I've seen companies effectively move the market higher with promotion and newsletters and then issue shares. I invested in a Calgary based company years ago when ...more

Obvious that efficiency is at higher rounds. I've been in this stock for years so I know at what levels they raised money at. The problem is that it never gained enough traction. The company now owns 10% of one of the top exploration plays in 2020 and the market has not responded. Why ?
