Tin shortage to last for another 7 years

Based on the potential supply from existing sources and the projected demand, provided it isn't replaced by some other metal or equivalent, the tin shortage will continue.  There just isn't a readily available source from any new mines coming on stream in that time frame.  It will take years to discover, permit and mine new sources and they are just not there.

It is apparent Alphamin could likely increase production, whether they decide to do so is currently being evaluated by management.  More driiling is required to evaluate the North deposit let alone the South deposit and other prospective areas at Bisie.

The South Crofty tin mine in Cornwall England could bring on additional supplies but it is likely to take another 3 years before we see any production but even then it is not a game changing volume.  There are new discoveries in Bolivia but they are many years from actual production.
It is thought that sources in Mynamar and China are drying up, so as to aggravate the already serious short supply.
