National Post on Lithium & CLQ
The National Post reports in its Thursday, Nov. 19, edition the General Motors approved a plan last week to make a plug-in hybrid electric car under the Cadillac name. The Post's Eric Lam writes in the Trading Desk column that Toyota plans to introduce a Prius wagon or SUV. Toshiba has returned to making rechargeable batteries for the hybrid car market. Canaccord Adams analyst Wendell Zerb says all this is good news for lithium miners. Lithium-ion batteries offer four times the power of nickel-metal hydride batteries and other benefits. As green cars become more mainstream, there is great potential in the lithium market. However, the market is small and those in the mix will likely defend their market share, so Mr. Zerb suggests investors pick companies of a scale and potentially low-cost structure such that they could force their way permanently into the lithium club and/or be advanced enough to get into production rapidly. He says these companies should be of a superior profitability, and yet small enough to avoid the attentions of the defensive seniors. He highlights Canada Lithium, Lithium One and Western Lithium Canada as venture companies that fall into his recommended category.

CLQ is up 10% today, maybe helped by that article. It should be good news for AKA.I can see AKA going a lot higher. Good support in the 20s, just a matter of time before it goes into the 30s.Good luck everyone. Always do your own due diligence.
