I am a member of Craig's online forum TFMR. He's as genuine as it gets! Great information from a true American. I will be supporting his effort to break the backs of the LBMA and the bullion bank's stranglehold on the price of metals especially silver. Have been and will continue to buy physical precious metals!

Great article Charlie.... GOLD HAS TURNED When I sent the tweet below out on March 31st, gold was $1,707. Gold had twice touched the $1,670s and told us that the 8 month correction was finished. The price is up $80 since the tweet but that is just the beginning. Sadly, very few investors have taken advantage of this opportunity to acquire gold at a low price. Now is still a great ...more

I've personally completely given up on estimating gold and silver prices. I have no doubt that up is where it's going but there's too many variables to consider. Look at history.     Hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic - Wikipedia   An ounce of gold traded for 170 marks at the beginning of that period. But by November 1923, one ounce sold for 87 trillion ...more

Ok Waffles....please educate me. I knew UK,US and Japan had high debt....but how the hell did Canada become number one by a landslide. All the resources Canada has....I'm ignorant of a promenint world presence, yet I know they support US/UK in global projects. Im even more convinced now, Canada will clear the way for gold mining...it's their only way out.

Man that's a big one Fordster. I'm a little too wrapped in buying at the moment and would need days and the right frame of mind to do that properly.    Back when I was trying to figure out what was going on in the bond market I had spent an entire week trying to find where all the money was going. Couldn't find it. Anyways I then fumbled my way onto the BOC and ...more

Mining to the rescue ?

Thanks Waffles for the education...I really enjoy your deep perspective on things. I've always worried about gold being nationalized....but have thought they would leave the mining aspect private...not sure anymore.     Inflation and increased taxes will make it difficult to pay taxes...period. I have a few rentals: I could see where their rent won't pay for everything.  ...more
