Very Simple

we already have many mines with equal or lower grades in production so that theory is out the window. Next !!!

Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 10:13am
what most are not talking about is how our neighbour over the mountain is trading multiple times higher.. WHY ??? size... pretty tuff argument why I see 8-12$ for a buyout on this one deposit.. others see a lot higher... staying conservative...
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 10:22am
Marigold's reserves are also 1/10 of TC
Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 10:33am
these guys arent interested in facts.. nor will they comment on the SEA argument / I mean why would they....
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 10:45am
Ya my point was this....If I can come up with an answer in a 30 second google search why can't anyone else?  If you are legitimately invested in this stock it should be pretty easy to doat least that amount of DD to prove that what we have here is significant even compared to currently producing mines.. This just proves that these guys are only here to bash the stock and get the price ...more

Bashing can be more than Shorting. Could be Takeover Games, Current disgruntled employees, Past employees, soured JV's and more and more and more. Oh the fun. Still think 30 is a clue.
Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 11:45am
absolutely Charlie, trying to determine the technicalities is minor / the adjenda is most often accumulation prior a massive run..... JAN/FEB 2022 may be a different story here.... PEA out of the way / spinout done and buyers ligning up..............
Comment by LonghandStrong on Sep 29, 2021 11:51am
yes, Marigold is a beauty and one of the first found when I began my own DD. Ive often asked the question and often wondered why its never before been brought up here before. Marigold is often cited as "ultra-low grade / low-cost" producer. And, at first glance, read "grade v grade" seems to be comparable to TC. Profitable mining in my opinion however is the sum of all factors ...more

This is the first post of yours that actually makes a lick of sense. Here's what i DO know....the world is running out of high grade deposits, and will have to transition to lower grades at some point to continue production. Copper is a relatively decent priced commodity and my understanding is that there is significant copper reserves as well at TC. There is also a significant amount of ...more
Comment by LonghandStrong on Sep 29, 2021 12:23pm
is the silver and copper even recoverable? Not a question yet answered. Not saying that this is the intent of TC, however when they started using AuEQ instead of Au, I became very skeptical. The Eq, is a great way to build hype.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 12:04pm
Here's my question to you LHS.....having read your last post and assuming you actually own stock in any or all of the 3 amigos, why are you so negative?
Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 12:09pm
because he is a crook.. simple....
Comment by LonghandStrong on Sep 29, 2021 12:24pm
says the guy who pumped all last year, then by self admission, sold at the top and started buying after it fell. Now is back pumping.... lol.
Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 12:33pm
key factor... started buying back tooo soon.... at least I stand behind my call vs hiding behind aliases and a hidden adjenda.. NEXT
Comment by Stockmoves1 on Sep 29, 2021 12:34pm
just may have to raise that 115 bid a little.... may...
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 12:34pm
So by my math, 19.4 million ounces of 0.74g/ton Au EQ gives them a gross value of almost 26 billion (with a B) dollars. Even if it took 24 billion dollars to produce the product (it won't - not even close....) that gives them a couple billion dollars in profit over the life of the mine. That does not include any of the inferred resources and is calculated at $1800/oz gold price. Honestly I ...more
Comment by LonghandStrong on Sep 29, 2021 3:43pm
your math is good however it doesn't consider opportunity cost and the time value of money. These are very much considered by investors on this scale. Next best opportunity IRR NPV and risk adjusted cost of capital. You can do a lot of damage with $24BB, and have to consider time, return versus risk profile and other. Gross proceeds, less Capex needs discounted by the cost of that capital ...more

those are all those buttons on the financial calculator that Ford doesn't know how to use, because he was typing 80087355 over and over again and snickering.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 4:15pm
I'll agree with that, but what I intentionally left out was the 8 million ounces of 0.79 g/Ton inferred and potentially $3000 POG. If the POG happens there is no way this doesnt get developed.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 4:25pm
Like I said before. IMO this is as close to a guarantee to be developed as you will ever find. The timeline is the issue.  I also mentioned licensing but as far as canadian producers are concerned that is the same for all properties that are to be developed - sio not really a hindrance specific to this stock. If you can make money somewhere else in the meantime, more power to you. But when ...more

I'd also be interested to see what Eric Sprott would have to say about the time value of money in realation to this property LOL!!!!!
Comment by stockzorg on Sep 29, 2021 4:51pm
Longhandstrong - I agree this needs to be considered.  The last workup I did showed a good NPV and IRR result.  I used a $1B investment to build out the mine, 17 year mine life at 400,000 oz. Au per year (no other minerals) from the open pit only - total of 6.8 million oz. Au produced life-of-mine, just the highest grade 50% of the ore.  I took the first five years of development up ...more

this is a good interview, Bob Thompson isn't a paid promoter, he paints a strong picture and is knowledgeable.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Sep 29, 2021 12:20pm
I might also add that there are open pit mines operating year round in Alaska. It is true they can't ship year around because the ports get ice-locked, but the mines DO operate year round and just stockpile the product for the shipping season...
Comment by LonghandStrong on Sep 29, 2021 12:23pm
agreed, however the point was "at what cost"?
