Larry and Kemetco are working on the the final phase for cathode recycling.  This goes back many months. They provided their Tier one manufacturer results showing 99.7% or better purity, but the manufacturer ask for them to run the final mile.  He wants the pure cathode material structural elements to match the exact format  they use when building their batteries. Basically they will be able to use this material and put it right in the cases with no further processing.  This is huge, it will essentially eliminate any competition in this area of battery production. 
We may be not gettting first hand information from Larry about this because:
-The prime person at AMY working on this design with Kemetco is Zarko their CTO - Chief Technical Officer, who has a very strong techical background. He also does all the Technical presentation for AMY.
- The other main reason wihile we are not hearing is that they also need to develop the patents. Your application to the PTO needs to be totally complete. You have to have the design, the complete process and all of the claims specifically spelled out or the PTO will throw out your application.  The patent runs for 20 years from the time of application. If we have to wait a couple more months to get it right that is just the way it is. We are long and that is what you have to do to secure your future returns.  
No other recycler will be able to come close to AMY and their intellectual property rights.

Do not worry about shorters because the only way they make money is if the longs sell, but instead the longs will be buying all the way up.

We got good result with the current process. I don't know if the final and new step (reactor) could be alone and replicate for each battery manufacturer. We can use the base material output from the current process and have different Reactor with different specification needed by different manufacturer. It would be huge !!!! Zarco can answer !!!
