Li-Cycle is Crushing AMY
I have said this before. It's not the best tech that wins the race. It's the best marketer. Li-Cycle firstly is a recycler, not a miner turned recycler. They have a charismatic CEO and they market the heck out of the company. They claim to be the largest battery recycler in North America and will shortly list on the NYSE, and likely raise close to a billion dollars. They have big banks and private backing. Ya, they also have patents. Larry, is AMY's worst asset as a representative of the company. Larry has never faced the fact that he is a horrible public speaker and is unable to communicate the worth of AMY to anyone. When I listen to the podcasts I always cringe and say "what exec or CEO would buy into AMY after hearing Larry's pitch". The press releases give me some hope, but mostly ends in frustration and unanswered questions. Li-Cycle just secured a huge joint venture and I wonder if that was stolen from AMY. It's looking more and more like AMY will go it alone and only get contracts with unknowns. Perhaps AMY has already seen it's payday. $2.80 seems like a pipe dream now to ever get back there. Larry's says he has made a few millionaires but now many have lost as much from the $2.80 mark. With all the vague NDAs and others now getting ahead of AMY, it seems that AMY will accomplish one thing that Larry has said, getting a piece of the recycling pie, but I am afraid that it is only going to be a sliver. Constant podcasts about the market conditions and predator trading need to stop. Where is AMY on the tier one company testing? What other testing is being done? Larry, states that they are in the end game....but it looks like AMY is down by 30 in the fourth quarter and facing Tom Brady. I don't see a win here. Or will Larry shift back focus on the Wenden Stockpile. The fact is others are making huge deals and AMY is doing nothing but making false promises. Something is wrong and the stock is officially going nowhere but down. Maybe Li-Cycle will buyout AMY, when we are back to 30 cents. Maybe Larry can explain Li-Cycle's new joint venture with LG and GM without having any transpanrency, like what AMY has.
