conference call

The conference call seemed pretty optimistic.  They gave the impression that their stronghold on the SK market has not weakened.  The SK promotions didn't run this quarter, partly due to two of the korean companies including sktel being in the process of a merger, so busy with other things.

Apivio's broadsoft certification is expected in a few weeks.  When they finish their negotiations with NEC NA and Japan, they are going to focus on broadsoft open standard generic SIP, which will give them access to 60% of the market.  They had a week of discussions with NEC global a few weeks ago, and things are moving along.

There is new technology being developed, but the differences aren't discussed, as hearing about future technology makes people less interested in buying the current version.

Anyway that's what I got from the conference call.  Everything is looking up.  The slowness of integration with NEC has been the main hurdle.
