400+ lbs of copper in an avg. size U.S. house
U.S. new builds avg 800,000 -1 million pounds/mth. The you can start to figure in the rest of the world that's growing. One hell of a lot of copper is going to be needed.

Correction to my last post - U.S. new builds 800,000 to 1,000,000 units per month. that's 320,000,000 to 400,000,000 pounds of copper required on a monthly basis and does not take into consideration China, Germany, Indonesia, India, Brazil, Russia, etc ... ps. stockhouse - fix you website and how posting is done
