PFOF?

I regularly see posts like '10k shares available to $5' on CEO and sometimes here. If that were the case, why wouldn't someone with a 200k+ share position just buy 10k shares at market prices to lift the price?

Is there PFOF fudgery happening? whereby short shares will intantly be created to sell to the buyers instead of market level 2 orders being filled, Thus keeping the price stagnant?

Always curious of the mechanics of the canadian markets

Had good volume yesterday, but there was only one good bid. Need bids in the stack to turn the Algos the other direction. With only the market maker in the stack the Algos do what they want.  The groups on this board control 7-8% with those who chat, ultimately my group isn't concerned and is nibbling away at these deprecated levels.

So >65% of the float is insider + F/F owned, and that group keeps adding shares. We've all told our collective friends, family and anybody who would listen to buy, so I suspect the group of shareholders controlling that ~65% is probably less than 100 people tbh. The press ARCH has gotten is great, but nobody seems to care at all.  We suspected monster bids would come on Dec 1 after ...more
