Im imprssing the helll out of the only person that matters - ME. Who do you think you are impressing with your long-term multi year pie in the sky "I hope i got an amazon" throw a dart and hope theory's and I will stick around no matter how much I get diluted or how many mis-steps by mgt happen.. Lol this text is way too long to read through it. What i get at half of the text, you really think this is my only position in my portfolio? Rofl! In the end i can make this story short: there are tons of books/statistical proof that passive trading is much profitable than active trading in the long-run, ask Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham...but you probably only read books like how to get ...more

LOL Maybe you should have read it all - because i didnt say that.(I was referencing only ART. Also, ROTFLMFAO - I make this not only shorter but right! Passive trading is much more profitable than active in the long run. REALLY - does the sucess of a company have anything to do with your passive investing philosophy over many years. (ART, Coca Cola, and TD Bank - great passive investing stocks ...more

Lol wrote in parallel about my investment strategy, should explain what i mean - clearly venture is wild wild west, but if you found something with a solid, serious foundation and mgmt (like Arht Media, not this cr@p hyped stocks on the venture which probably makes 90%+ of all those pennies) it makes more sense to keep it if you got in early instead of trading volatility, thats all ;-)

Yup we all know the flippers have selective memory. Psychologically it's akin to gambling. The rush of the win, the braggadocio, but also the inevitable losses or at the least, the massive missed profits. That's okay, he can just switch user names and/or stocks. It's conceivable, though very unlikely, a trader can successfully trade the volatility every time. I've never met one but ...more

I always love how this Maxmoe person has no issue spreading his "thoughts"  and provides his ultimate wisdom  on posts that he has no idea of what was stated (if ignored). WHO DOES THAT. Btw, to prevent further escalation, as you may have noticed in previous posts i'm also critical about what's happening with Arht Media and i'm fine with everyone who does, but lets say there are different investing strategies and mine is simple: assess the potential/future trends, get in early with a big position if DD is promising, check the segment & peers how far can this go ...more
