Tremendous development. Clearly ATHT is working very productively without hyped fanfare.
Comment by Kingfredo on May 11, 2021 10:10am
I wonder what the financials are behind this?... Who foots the bill for these 100+ locations and what kind of royalties are being paid for each one, etc?
Comment by SunsetGrill on May 11, 2021 10:29am
Now your getting it. All these "deals" are Partnerships - and while you must start somewhere these are not sales. These are the very important questions you should keep asking yourself in the evaluation of this company. (as you state KingFre no mention of any ot that in all their releases - all releases are shall we say vague - with some leaving you asking more questions than answers ...more

No company is going to lay out their detailed Business Plan, financials etc. in any general public news release SunsetGrill. However, it is true that shareholders/investors need to  be able to make informed decisions. So how/when does that happen? Think of it somewhat like Voting in a democratic society. 1st, you hear the story from the candidates and party policy material. 2nd, you make a ...more

Well - I dont think I ever asked for a DETAILED business plan but how about less questions to ask. And as far as your points 1 thru 5 - I provided that past years  similiar press releases which IMHO does outlines thier DETAILED business plan. This deal will be similar if WeWork did any homework what so ever.

How long until you put that guy on ignore?

WeWork will have the ARHT equipment (both the capture studio and the HoloPod) installed in sixteen of its locations by the third quarter of this year. ARHT will install the technology in as many as 100 more WeWorks in the future, the companies say.   Hashemi would not say whether WeWork is buying or renting the holographic gear and software from ARHT. “We’ve entered into a financial ...more

No answer there. It's fair for both parties not to want to disclose all the details for competitive reasons but it would be nice if we could get a bigger than a breadbox or not context. Hashemi would not say whether WeWork is buying or renting the holographic gear and software from ARHT. “We’ve entered into a financial arrangement that has benefits for both parties,”

It should be more than certain to most whom invest as a living - that WeWork will have very little skin in the game.  quote=Maxmoe]No answer there. If I speculate, sounds like we work pays for nothing but puts valuable? Office space into the deal. Art pays for the install and collects 80% plus of the fees. 16 installs would be a small breadbox. 100 locations would be material but unfortunately I don't think art has the capital to install 100 locations @ $100,000 each = $10 million.

Funny thing though, if there is so much success they eat through the dough from the last raise, that's a good thing right?
Comment by WinterBaron on May 11, 2021 11:47am
Maxmoe; this is the area I would like to understand much, much better. "I don't think art has the capital to install 100 locations @ $100,000 each = $10 million.  How much is growth contained/restricted by capital considerations? Do they have or can they obtain adequate outside financial support such as Accounts Receivable financing? Does it make sense to have a large established ...more

What if? The company is keeping discussions involving financing with some large corporations secret? The company has numerous discussions ongoing for more installations? The company is developing the technology for home use?
Comment by Maxmoe on May 11, 2021 12:05pm
All good questions. All small companies, including ART starve for outside financial support. Debt is a killer for early stage companies even if they can access it. Winning breakthrough technology and execution will create access to multiple capital sources. Case in point was RIM, research in motion, became blackberry started on a shoestring and exploded quickly. Slower build out was magna. Large ...more

"Debt is a killer for early stage companies even if they can access it" That deoends on what kind of debt they take on, the right kind of debt can be an asset.

WINTER :  Wait a year or so and read it in the Detailed Business Plan - WTF please dont ask such silly questions from a company you OWN a bit of. Just sit around and wait for them to tell you CMON practice what you preach

Get 'em out there, Larry....our communication systems need to be conveniently available. As to cost, if we're paying for equipment, think cost of build, not retail sale price.  Synth, no idea what qtr sales will be, and don't think it matters...unless it's a huge win. Am expecting a low figure....say 835K. The news today is far more important than last qtrs sales; the news of ...more
