''Passenger Vlodinger report to gate #1''

Ok...appointment announced 2 weeks ago, and the name does not appear on the BoD on the company website. Was this a PR mistake or who else on the BoD has yet to step down? Oh well there's an election coming so the answer will be buried somewhere... :-)

Looks suspicious to me!

Really now. To me he represents a successful, experienced no-nonsense executive who is going to put an end to the pussy-footing that has gone on far too long. IEC on AMEX and ATQ are basically the same size companies going after the same market niches.IEC was $0.07 per share 7 years ago. It is now $5.00 per share for a growth of 70 times.ATQ was $0.40 per share 7 years ago. It is now $0.10 per ...more

If I follow your logic, I would conclude RH would have turfed Marti long ago. Instead they rewarded him with quadrupling his options loot .Interesting.It is obvious to me that there is a lot going on behind the scene right now. They increased sales nicely, but the exchange rate kills them (they are not the only ones to suffer this in Canada) and IEC both does not have to worry about that and have ...more

As though the company would post a ficticious press release to the regulatory authorities--time to inject some realism into your comments."Sam VlodingerMr. Vlodinger is ...more

Jack- I don't look at their site every hour of the day and every single day. But this change is indeed in the past few days. Thanks for posting it.BTW - I never challenged whether he was suitable for the BoD, just that he was either the 10th member or he was replacing someone whose departure had not been announced or whose news of departure I missed (no one pointed to the later on this board ...more

Wormbuster: I am not challenging, I am questioning. I am trying to understand how two virtually similar companies, operating with the same strategy in the same industry could have such dramatically different results:in 7 years:-IEC has gone from $0.07/share to $5.40/share-ATQ has gone from $0.40/share to $0.10/share.I think the results beg for an understanding of the differences such that ...more

Paul Walker could not have said any better.. ;-)We both agree the the majority shareholder and its reps on the BoD are a good thing. But results, and only results,  will be the proof of their effectiveness in the medium term.
